A traditional men's tailored shirt at a size 8 altered to include elements of Chinese style and fashion.
I altered the patterns of a traditional men's tailored shirt in several ways: the sleeves, sleeve cuffs, and plackets were lengthened and widened in a slight bell shape, collar and collar stand changed to a tall mandarin collar, and the hem of the shirt cropped to the waist. Button and button holes became straight frog fasteners, which I handmade. Custom stitching of the Chinese character for happiness and fortune “喜” sewn onto cuff seams.
